Advanced Life Support
Advanced Life Support care requires medical monitoring and care by a licensed EMT-Paramedic. Care may include monitoring vital signs, advanced drug therapy, cardiac monitoring, oxygen and IV therapy. Our ALS Ambulances are equipped with state-of-the-art heart and blood pressure monitoring equipment, pulse oximetry, oxygen delivery devices including a CPAP and advanced medications used to treat a variety of illnesses and provide pain relief.
Basic Life Support
Basic life support service allows for a patient or a loved one to be transported on a stretcher, in our ambulances all while being cared for by our highly trained Medics. These types of patients are stable, and require no Advanced Life Support measures. Georgia MedPort specializes in repetitive appointments such as dialysis, wound care, hospital procedures, IV infusion, radiation, chemotherapy, imaging, and many more.
Non-Emergency Wheel Chair
We offer door to door service opposed to curb to curb. The difference is significant for wheel chair transportation. Our patient care techs pick our patients up at their front door or room in a facility/hospital, and bring them to our specially designed ADA vans. Wheel chairs are secured with tie downs and the patient is secured with a lap belt. Once at the doctors a office, we sign our patients in at the front desk and leave a card for them to call us when the appointment is completed.
